What is a folded leaflet?

A printed sheet folded into panels, so you can say more than a flat flyer while staying compact and easy to hand out.

Flyer, leaflet or booklet: what's the difference?

A flyer is a flat sheet. A leaflet is folded, giving you several panels. A booklet is stapled pages, for when you have a lot to say.

Which fold should I choose?

A half fold (A4 to A5) gives four simple pages. A tri fold, either roll or Z, turns A4 into a DL leaflet that fits envelopes and display racks. Gate folds open from the middle and suit invitations and menus. Cross folds and double parallel folds pack lots of panels into a small size.

Do they arrive folded?

Yes. They're delivered folded and ready to hand out, including tri-fold A4 leaflets.

Which paper should I choose?

130gsm gloss or silk is the popular choice and folds cleanly. 170gsm feels more substantial. Uncoated paper can be written on, which is handy for forms and order sheets. The papers on offer depend on the fold: if you pick one that doesn't match, we'll switch it and tell you.

Will colour crack along the fold?

Strong colour or backgrounds running across a fold can crack slightly. Heavier papers are creased before folding to keep this to a minimum.

How do I set up my artwork?

Supply one 2-page PDF at the flat size with 3mm bleed. Page 1 is the outside and page 2 the inside. For an A4 folded to A5, page 1 holds pages 4 and 1, and page 2 holds pages 2 and 3. For landscape folds, the back page sits next to the front page, rotated 180°.

What are folded leaflets used for?

Brochures, restaurant and takeaway menus, price lists, maps, event programmes, instructions and direct mail: anything that needs more room than a flyer but not a full booklet.

Can I send them to more than one address?

Yes. Place a separate order for each address.

Will you check my artwork?

Yes. File Check is free and selected by default: our prepress team check panel order, size, bleed, resolution and more, and contact you if anything needs fixing. If you'd rather we fixed the problems for you, choose File Assist. We'll resize, fix fonts and correct the layout for a flat fee. Nothing goes to print until the artwork is right.

Can I send my artwork later?

Yes. Place your order and email your artwork over when it's ready. Production starts once we have it.

How long will my order take?

Choose Saver, Standard or Express in the price table. The estimated delivery date for each speed is shown at the top of its column and updates for the quantity you pick. UK mainland delivery is included.

The detailsleaflets

Folded leaflet printing, priced in seconds.

A folded leaflet gives you more room than a flyer while staying small enough to hand out, post or put in a display stand. The front panel grabs attention, and the inside panels hold the detail: products, prices, menus, event times, maps and contact details.

We print full-colour folded leaflets in 39 folds, from a simple half fold to tri (roll), Z, gate, cross and double parallel folds, and deliver them folded, ready to go. Choose gloss, silk or uncoated paper, printed on one or both sides. Build your spec above and the price updates as you go, with free UK mainland delivery.

39 folds: Half, roll, Z, gate, cross and more.
Ready folded: Arrives folded, ready to hand out.
Up to 16pp: From 4 panels to 16.
