What sizes can I print?

Eight metric sizes from 1.5 × 0.5m to 3 × 2m and 4 × 1m, plus five sizes in feet: 4 × 2ft, 6 × 3ft, 8 × 3ft, 10 × 3ft and 8 × 4ft.

Which material should I choose?

440gsm PVC is the standard, tough and weatherproof choice for most indoor and outdoor banners. 400gsm PVC-free is an eco-friendly alternative with a similar look. 260gsm mesh is perforated so wind passes through, which makes it the right choice for fences, scaffolding and exposed sites.

Do I need hemmed edges?

For outdoor banners, yes. A hem folds and welds the edge so it's much stronger around the eyelets and less likely to tear in the wind. Mesh banners always come hemmed.

How do I hang my banner?

Thread cable ties, bungees or rope through the eyelets and fix them to a fence, railing or frame. Add bags of cable ties in the spec above and you can hang it as soon as it arrives.

What file should I send?

A print-ready PDF in CMYK, with fonts embedded or outlined. Design at full size or to scale, with images at 100–150dpi at full size. Keep text and logos 30mm inside the edge so they're clear of hems and eyelets. We also accept JPG and PNG.

Will you check my artwork?

Yes. File Check is free and selected by default: our prepress team check resolution, size, safe area and more, and contact you if anything needs fixing. If you'd rather we fixed the problems for you, choose File Assist. We'll resize, fix fonts and correct the layout for a flat fee. Nothing goes to print until the artwork is right.

Can I send my artwork later?

Yes. Place your order and email your artwork over when it's ready. Production starts once we have it.

How long will my banner take?

Choose Saver, Standard or Express in the price table. The estimated delivery date for each speed is shown at the top of its column and updates for the quantity you pick.

Q: Metal or plastic eyelets?

Metal eyelets are the strongest and the usual choice for outdoor banners. Plastic eyelets are lighter and fine for indoor or short-term use.

Tough outdoor banners from 1.5m to 4m, with eyelets and hemmed edges. Priced as you go.

Before you sendArtwork

Artwork checklist.

Get these right and your banners print exactly as designed. Our free File Check catches problems before anything is printed.

01Supply a PDF with fonts embedded or converted to outlines.
02Set your document up in CMYK colour, not RGB.
03Design at the banner's full size, or to scale (for example 10%) with images to match.
04Use images at 100–150dpi at full size. Banners are seen from a distance, so this is plenty.
05Keep text and logos at least 30mm inside the edge, clear of the hems and eyelets.
06Go big: short headline, large text and strong contrast read best from across the road.
