What do I get with the frame and 2 posters?

A double-sided A-frame with two printed posters, one for each side. Send one design and we print it on both posters.

Can I order new posters for my frame?

Yes. Choose Poster Only in the same size as your frame (A2 or A1). The snap frame loads from the front, so swapping takes seconds.

How do I change the posters?

Open the clip-down edges around the front of the frame, lift the anti-glare cover, swap the poster and snap the edges shut.

Can I leave it outside?

Yes. The frame has a galvanised steel back and the posters are printed on tough 410gsm PVC, so they're made for indoor and outdoor use. Stand it on flat, even ground so it can't tip.

The A2 frame weighs about 3.8kg and the A1 about 6.9kg: light enough to carry in and out every day.

How big should I make my design?

At the full poster size, 1:1: 420 × 594mm for A2 or 594 × 841mm for A1. Keep text and logos at least 10mm (ideally 25mm) from the edge, as the frame clips cover the border.

What file should I send?

A CMYK PDF, ideally PDF/X-1a, at full size with images at 150dpi. Keep text 18pt or bigger so it reads from a distance.

Cafés, bars, restaurants, shops, salons, estate agents, market stalls, colleges and exhibitions: anywhere you want to catch people walking by.

Will you check my artwork?

Yes. File Check is free and selected by default: our prepress team check size, resolution, borders and more, and contact you if anything needs fixing. If you'd rather we fixed the problems for you, choose File Assist. We'll resize, fix fonts and correct the layout for a flat fee. Nothing goes to print until the artwork is right.

Can I send my artwork later?

Yes. Place your order and email your artwork over when it's ready. Production starts once we have it. If you're ordering the frame only, there's nothing to print, so you don't need artwork.

How long will my order take?

Choose Saver, Standard or Express in the price table. The estimated delivery date for each speed is shown at the top of its column. UK mainland delivery is included.

The detailsA-frames

A-frame signs, priced in seconds.

An A-frame on the pavement stops people walking past. Put your offers, menu, prices or opening hours right where passers-by can see them, then swap the posters whenever your message changes, without buying a new frame.

Our A-frames are double-sided, front-loading snap frames with a galvanised steel back and an anti-glare protective cover, made for indoors and out. Order the frame with two printed posters, the frame on its own, or new posters for a frame you already have, in A2 or A1. Free UK mainland delivery.

A2 or A1: Posters 420 × 594mm or 594 × 841mm.
2 sides: Your design on both sides.
Snap frame: Front-loading: swap posters in seconds.
In & out: Galvanised steel, 410gsm PVC posters.

Before you sendArtwork

Artwork checklist.

Get these right and your A-frames print exactly as designed. Our free File Check catches problems before anything is printed.

01Supply a CMYK PDF (ideally PDF/X-1a) at full size, 1:1 scale.
02Keep everything important at least 10mm from the edge, ideally 25mm: the frame clips cover the border.
03Use images at 150dpi at full size.
04Keep text 18pt or bigger and lines at least 2pt thick: anything finer may not print cleanly at 150dpi.
05Big, short headlines work best: people read A-frames while walking past.
06Send a 1-page PDF: with the frame and 2 posters, we print the same design on both.
07Delete the template guides before you send your file.
